Delta File Utilities

The UpFront Delta File utilities provide the means of extracting and returning editing information from and to the delta files, thus allowing the editing of the appearance of FRS applications to be automated. We supply example awk programs as illustrations of how this can be done. What we don't supply is the awk program itself. We would recommend mawk as a very good implementation. The supplied df_merge utility is used to merge delta files. It is DOS based and can run out of memory on very large delta files. The version below is windows based and will not run out of memory.
