Part of the development of the Foboz - Meta Search Engine is our study and grading of the relative merits of the main web search engines and we have decided to make available a monthly report of their relative merits when a key phrase that will change each month is entered.

The disparities in the results of the engines, only helped convince us that meta search engines like Foboz are a good way to go.

Speaking of Foboz, only a single search engine was added today making it a slow day for the expansion of our search engine database. But in perspective, we have averaged about 4 additional search engines per day, which is quite a pace to keep up, especially when search engines need to meet our "search engine selection criteria". This is making finding new search engines increasingly difficult.

We don't intend posting about our web site statistics on a daily basis, as eventually what goes up, must come down, or at least cease to go up any longer! However, we do note from Alexa that we are now registering a 650% increase in our ranking over the last 3 months.

One of the reasons may be our resources content beginning to gain an audience.  We can hardly tout this as the most comprehensive or best set of resources for webmasters and shareware authors, but we do now have 20 articles in 9 categories, that address many questions and provide some very useful resources that we know we needed when we started out.
