This extension is so far as we are aware not actually used by any shareware sites, aside from Pad Ring but we would strongly recommend you include it in your pad files by right clicking here selecting "Save As" and saving as "padring.htm" in your PadGen directory.

The principle is simple and has incredible potential! You place in your pad files, references to your other pad files. Thus if shareware sites poll your pad file and follow the pad ring reference. They can automatically pick up all of your software titles.

The Pad Ring extension also tries to address the thorny issue of getting a program in to the right software category with <Program_Specific_Category> and <Program_Categories> but unless web sites standardise on categorisation we are not opimisitic that this will work very well.
