Our policy on shareware upgrades is that they should be free to those who have shown support for a product.

We do not like companies who continually charge again for basically the same software.

Our current shareware programs are the Foboz - Meta Search Engine and the Callisto - Newsreader/Bulletin Board Browser.

The UpFront - GUI Frontend for Ingres FRS is not shareware and its pricing policy is a matter for all partner companies. However even here we are pleased to say, the one chargable upgrade in ten years of production is the upgrade to the 32bit version of the product.
