Creating the document
In this section, you will create and save a new document and enter a name for it.

Open the Callisto program using its desktop shortcut or by going to the Callisto folder on the Start menu. Callisto automatically loads the last document it used: close it by selecting File and Close. (Don't worry if closing the document takes a few moments - Callisto is making sure the saved information for the document is up to date.)
Create a new document by selecting File and New. Callisto displays the new document in a document window:

Note that there are no bulletin boards listed for the document (in the Web pane), but that Callisto has automatically defined three Callisto forums for you. The board name has been automatically set to Callisto.
Before you save your document, it's a good idea to ensure that the board name is correctly entered (recall that this is the title that will be used when you display an index of the Callisto forums in the document as a Web page). The best plan is to make it the same as the name of the document!
Click in the text box labelled Callisto in the top right of the window and then click the Edit button. Enter the board name Tutorial in the dialog which appears and click Close:

(By the way, the Template feature will allow you to select from a set of predefined template documents in future releases of Callisto).
Select File and Save and enter the file name Tutorial. Click the Save button to save your document.

You have created, named and saved an empty document. The next step is to specify the which bulletin boards you want Callisto to read; this is the subject of the next section.
