With the company and the web site developing all the time, it does
mean that loads of things happen each day, but probably most days there
is not something happening that makes the front page of the site, and
one thing we hate is that impression it can leave that not a lot is
going on.

Our shareware site list which began almost casually as something we thought would be of benefit to shareware authors has taken on a life of its own!
We have now got 232 sites listed and will probably end up with over 250. But what is more, the sites all now link to specific information about sites, for example Tucows. The traffic analysis display will be think be invaluable for authors in judging whether it is really worth paying for submissions. |

Another day at the salt mines! Finding sites for our shareware site list resource has limited appeal after a week of concentrated effort. But we now have a nice round figure of 200 sites listed, and we think we can probably scrape together another 20 or so sites before running out of steam. We have already reorganised the list to show it in alphabetical order of the submission urls, as the names of these sites gets just to confusing because of all their alias's. It would be so easy to have the same site listed multiple times.
When the list is finally complete we may do some work to allow users to display the list in the way they prefer to see it. Perhaps even adding a few more filters for getting the most pertinent results.
Our Callisto - Newsreader achieved another decent award today:
which is always good to see.

Our list of shareware sites is coming along very well. Possibly rather too well for its current apologetic tone about the length of the list. 165 sites just about all of which are worth looking at submitting software to, does not need an apology! We have more we plan to add over the next few days, and then we think this will be a very valuable resource.
Talking of resources, our resources section of the site is generally developing more content, albeit it apart from the shareware site list it is still pretty sparce in terms of really great content. But we have added an article about using the web site measuring tool Alexa which we think is well worth a look.
Meanwhile on the Foboz - Meta Search Engine Front all is far from quiet. A award was recieved today from the shareware site programurl.com and we are continuing to add more search engines. If you look at the home page then close to the bottom right hand corner you will see a Foboz - Meta Search Engine graphic with the current count; 334 as of today.
The Callisto - News Reader/Bulletin Board browser is also picking up shareware awards, and we have listed a few more in the left hand column of the Callisto page. The award list is getting rather long and we know it is missing quite a few. But we do want the page to load quickly!
