Graphics Editors
You almost certainly have Microsoft Paint installed on your computer. This program should not be dismissed. It might be a crude editor, but for a variety of simple image editing tasks it wins out over packages with a thousand menu options.
In our experience there are so many pros and cons and sadly bugs in graphics editors, that it is a good idea not to rely on any single editor, but instead to complement some purchased products with some of the excellent free offerings.

We have a quite large and growing list of shareware
sites you may submit software to.

Sites listed are either working, or seem likely to only be suffering from a
brief problem at the time of testing.
Unfortunately we have felt compelled to list sites that are in our opinion
bad news. As shareware writers it is important to be aware of such sites, as
your reputation could be hit by being listed on them. Note we do not supply
links to these sites.
You can sort the list in various fashions by clicking on the column headers.
The list initially appears in the very useful order of a snapshot of the Alexa ranking. Thus it is in
priority order of the sites you might want to submit to. Note this rank is not
dynamically updated currently. The ability to see the sites web presence is in
our opinion invaluable when faced with sites that want you to pay for
submission. Paid submission sites may well look well written and may well be
fast in operation, but if they rank 1000,000 with Alexa then they simply don't
have any significant custom.
A significant proportion of our database is not displayed, as we think the
sites are too broken, dead etc to matter. We have tried to strike the right
balance between giving you all the information we know, and wasting your time in
the way these sites wasted ours!
