Using Alex

Alex consists of a compiler and a runtime interpreter that runs the compiled Alex programs.

These programs along with Alex programming documentation, may be freely downloaded and used to develop freeware applications.

contact Martin Walker for download details.

Alex is a tried and tested programming environment, with over 10 years of history making it a suitable language for commercial applications, perhaps where its cross platform and screen-scraping capabilies along with its simple approach to rapid application development make it a powerful contender.

Alex itself though is not freeware and if you do wish to use the language for a commercial application you will need to negotiate terms. Contact Martin Walker for  details.
